Okay since we all already know that there is going to be a Guitar Hero 5, we thought we should give you as much info as we can on it. First of all you will actually be able to play four of ANY instrument on the same screen, meaning you could have 4 guitars on the same screen if you really wanted to. There are also these things called momentum points, and every time you break your streak, you have to get 20 notes in a row to regain it. This is supposedly supposed to make the game more competitive. There is also something called party play mode, where people can join in the middle of the songs and just start playing with people. Sounds pretty cool doesn’t it?

Okay apparently the Rock Band Unplugged game has been leaked to some Piraters on the PSP. But from that it pretty much means that we now have the whole setlist at our disposal. So there are a lot of songs, and click more if you want to see them.

First up is the DLC hitting Rock Band next week. There is going to be some Alice Cooper, six songs to be more exact. These songs will be in a pack costing 800 Microsoft Points, or 160 Microsoft Points per song. Then there is another track pack containing three songs and it costs 440 Microsoft Points or 160 Microsoft Points per song. Apparently a fan voted setlist of Live Pearl Jam songs is going to be coming to Rock Band, or its own game possibly. Though there is not a lot of details we do know that there is going to be some sort of DLC or a Pearl Jam game for Rock Band.

Exclusively held only to Europe, the release of Guitar Hero Metallica will also have a Guitar Bundle which has a guitar, and an exclusive Metallica face plate which you can see after the break. It is coming to Europe May 22nd, and the UK May 29th.

Sometime in the future, there are going to be a total of 25 songs hitting Rock Band for the Wii. These songs are going to span 25 years of Rock, and will cost 200 Wii Points each (they will not be sold in a pack.) So hopefully for you Wii users you might be able to find something in the 25 songs after the break that might be worth it for you to download. Go and take a look.

Guitar Hero Metallica, which is releasing later this month in the UK, will let you get a limited edition version of Guitar Hero Metallica. It comes with a lot of cool stuff too. Here’s what it has:

That’s right, due to the substantial downfall of the music genre EA is losing some money off of Rock Band. They expect that they will lose about $400 Million this year alone, seeing how it was down 36% in the first quarter of the year, and 42% in March alone. So what is going to happen to Rock Band, probably nothing but you never know.

All of the four titles mentioned above have been confirmed to be coming. DJ Hero is going to let you create “original mixes of popular songs and music from the world’s most exciting artists and DJs.”
Band Hero is going to be similar to Rock Band and Guitar Hero, only this game is actually for everyone E10+. This game however is mostly just for family appeal.
Guitar Hero 5 is supposedly going to be very similar to Guitar Hero World Tour only with some slight modifications. Though not much information is really known about this.
Finally, Guitar Hero Van Halen is coming, and it will also include such bands as Queen, Weezer, Blink 182, The Offspring, and Queens of the Stone Age. Plus all of the band’s major songs have been confirmed such as Panama and Hot For Teacher.

Well other than next weeks DLC, the Rock Band Market just reached 666 songs. This was coincidentally reached after the song released called “Nothing Shocking” by Jane’s Addiction.
But on to the DLC coming next week.
There is 1 pack of 3 from Franz Ferdinand, and 7 other total songs which you have to buy individually. All the songs and the pack do cost the usual amount, so just click more info and you will see the songs! Oh yeah and they come out Tuesday for 360 and Thursday for PS3!
